Paramore opened up their recent South America shows by performing This Is Why track You First – watch their official live video now.
Fresh from their recent shows in South America, and ahead of their upcoming return to the UK in April, Paramore have shared an ace new live video of You First.
The band have captured their performances of the This Is Why track from South America, which was their set opener on this run of shows in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia.
In an interview with Line Of Best Fit, vocalist Hayley Williams said of the “paradoxical” and very human meaning behind You First: “You’re somebody’s hero, and they come up to you and tell you about all these things you’ve helped them with, but in the back of your mind, you’re thinking, ‘But I’m an asshole’ about something you did or a mistake you made. Like, this person has no idea, right? But I think that’s just the paradoxical nature of being human. I got mad at kids for a fighting at a Paramore show and then I got mad at myself backstage because I was like, ‘As if I don’t get angry about shit’, you know? Who knows what they’re struggling with, or if the world is a horrific place to live in for them? Maybe they don’t have money for therapy? Maybe they’re going through something I can’t even fathom, and it’s no wonder they got into a fight at the Paramore show.”

Paramore’s touring schedule will recommence on April 13 at the 3Arena in Dublin, and will finish up at London’s massive The O2 10 days later. Then they’ll be out in the U.S. for some huge festival dates and other headline shows later this year.
