With their debut film Rite Here Rite Now arriving in cinemas this month, Ghost have given fans a new look at their movie – though, as suspected, it doesn’t reveal a huge amount about the plot just yet…
The band have unveiled an intriguing 81-second teaser, which features a segment of a performance of Kaisarion – filmed at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on their epic Re-Imperatour last year – plus some backstage antics that presumably reflect the narrative-based portion of the film.
A synopsis teases that this part-concert, part-story results in an ‘utterly unique phantasmagorical blend’, with a whole load of Ghost bangers mixing with the ‘silver screen debuts of a few faces familiar to the band’s legions of fans – all interacting behind the scenes with Ghost’s Papa Emeritus IV, as his future and fate lay in the hands of the Ministry’.
Rite Here Rite Now hits cinemas across the globe from June 20 – 23.
