The public celebration of life for Pantera/Damageplan/Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul was held yesterday at The Bomb Factory in Dallas.
Among the many tributes was one from Vinnie's former Pantera colleague, Phil Anselmo. Vinnie and Phil had sadly never reconciled after Pantera's break-up in 2003.
Appearing via video at the celebration, Phil said: “Vince, always have love in my heart for you, man. Rest in peace.”

Vinnie died on June 22 aged 54. His cause of death has not been revealed.
He was buried beside his brother, Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott, and his mother, at the Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, TX on Saturday.
