Tyler Joseph says twenty one pilots “aren’t giving Breach a proper world tour”

Tyler Joseph has suggested that twenty one pilots will be taking a bit of a break from playing live after 2025.

The alternative rock superstars are set to hit the road to celebrate their eighth album Breach, but the frontman has shared in a very honest statement that, “other than maybe some festivals next year, it will be the first time in our career we won’t know when we will tour again.”

“We have a U.S. tour coming up this fall (which is going to be pure magic, and I cannot wait),” Tyler writes. “But then after that… I’m not sure. I’m not saying it’s our last tour ever; I’m just saying, other than maybe some festivals next year, it will be the first time in our career we won’t know when we will tour again. Sucks that we aren’t giving Breach a proper world tour, and I’m sorry to our fans outside of the States.”

Elsewhere, the singer’s post begins with the fact that, “I’m so, so pumped for you guys to hear this record. Breach took everything I had left; but as I stare at these finished wav files, I realise how little they mean until they get to you. Fans of this band have given me so much fulfilment and purpose. Thank you for that.”

He also confirms that twenty one pilots’ new single Drum Show will drop tomorrow – Monday, August 18 – and that drummer Josh Dun will be “doing more than just drumming on it”.

For those keen on twenty one pilots’ extensive lore, Tyler teases that the music video for Breach album opener City Walls will conclude “the story of Dema and Clancy and Torchbearer”, and that final song Intentions “is really important to me, and is my attempt at understanding the ending of the City Walls video”.
