Following April 1’s teaser billboard – which was definitely not an April Fool’s, thankfully! – Turnstile have properly started teasing new music.

As all bands do in the modern era, the hardcore heroes have taken to social media to start gearing up for their next chapter. Following the iconic pink of last album GLOW ON, their new profile icon is light blue, and a teaser video – which has already been viewed over one million times on Instagram in less than a day – is captioned with a light blue heart. As for the clip itself, it’s a pretty calming video of some waves, soundtracked by a very pretty and cinematic instrumental. Surely this all means we’re going to get new music very soon?!

The aforementioned billboard, which read NEVER ENOUGH TURNSTILE, featured the date of June 6, along with their new band line-up including guitarist Meg Mills. So fingers crossed the below teaser means that we won’t be waiting two more months to hear new material from the band…

In a 2021 interview with Kerrang!, frontman Brendan Yates reflected on his artistic journey over the years: “The cool thing about music – whether it’s making music or being inspired by it – is that it’s got this constant forward trajectory. It’s this DNA you’re constantly adding to. Your entire life is about being excited by different influences and inspirations: people, objects, events. Adding them on, rather than swapping them out.”

Turnstile will be back in the UK this summer to headline Outbreak London and play Glastonbury.
