Watch the video for End It’s new single, Optical Delusions
The final single from next month’s debut album Wrong Side Of Heaven, End It have just unleashed Optical Delusions.
During blink-182 tour rehearsals, drummer Travis Barker smashed his finger “so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments”.
Travis Barker has shared details of a rather painful-sounding injury to his hand.
With just over a month to go until blink-182’s highly-anticipated reunion tour with Tom DeLonge kicks off in Mexico, the drummer took to social media this week to post a photo of his ring finger, which had been dislocated during rehearsals.
Detailing the injury on Twitter on Wednesday, February 8, Travis wrote that: “I was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments.” Ouch.
Of course, Travis is talented enough that he once played the drums using only one arm during a David Letterman performance, after apparently injuring himself during a video shoot. So hopefully his current ailment won’t impact the pop-punk legends’ upcoming shows. Still, we’ll keep you posted – and we’re wishing you all the best, Travis!
See what else has been going on during blink rehearsals:
blink-182’s first show back with Tom will take place on March 11 in Tijuana. The band have also been working on a new record, which the frontman calls “the best album we’ve ever made”.
