It's been several months since we had an update on Tool's progress regarding their new album – and in that time they've announced a ton of European tour dates. Now, though, the talk is happily back on new music.
In a surprising (and exciting) update from frontman Maynard James Keenan, the frontman reports that his vocals for the follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days were actually finished "months ago," ahead of A Perfect Circle's gigs at the end of 2018.
"Update- Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago," the vocalist informed fans on Twitter. "Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w . If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now. Meanwhile write/film/track w for & troll the band FBs with wine posts. "
Sneaky, sneaky…
