The Smashing Pumpkins announce four huge summer shows in England

The Smashing Pumpkins have just announced a huge headline show at London’s Gunnersbury Park, and a trio of other special summer dates.

The iconic alternative rock trio – Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha – will be joined by special guests Skunk Anansie and White Lies (and more acts TBA) at the summer extravaganza in the capital, which takes place on Sunday, August 10. After that they’ll hit Halifax on August 12, Scarborough the following night, and then the Colchester Castle Summer Series on August 14.

Of course, this’ll be their first time back in England since releasing surprise 13th album Aghori Mhori Mei last summer, and as such these shows are aptly called the Aghori tour.

Tickets to see the Pumpkins go on sale this Friday, February 14 from 10am.
