Megadeth have released their new version of Ride The Lightning
“I think we did it at least as good – it’s a little faster…” With Megadeth’s final album dropping today, it means their cover of Metallica’s Ride The Lightning is also out!
Turns out there's a bit more to it than James, Lars, Kirk and Rob walking onstage...
Ever wondered what goes into making a Metallica show happen? Well, wonder no more! Because a four-part documentary series titled Metallica WorldWired Tour - Behind The Scenes lifts the lid.
The YouTube videos see the crew (including Lighting Designer & Director Rob Koenig and Video Director Gene McAuliffe) explain the logistics behind the crazy cubes that float above the band while they play on their WorldWired Tour, and much more (including how it took an entire week to put the stage set together).
While front of house guy 'Big Mick' Hughes explains how he's been making the band sound so incredible for the last 34 years.
Apparently a lot goes into putting on such a monster production. Who knew?!
