Hot on the heels of their first new single in three years, metallic pop-punk stars Sum 41 have announced a set of UK tour dates. The band will play four shows across the UK this June in Exeter, Leicester, Glasgow and Manchester – just days after the release of their upcoming seventh album, Order In Decline.
The record was written following three years of touring, during which Deryck Whibley observed a multitude of division and social turmoil. “The last thing I wanted to do was write a social or political protest record, and Order In Decline is not that,” said Deryck. “It’s also very hard not to have feelings about everything that’s going on in the world.”
Speaking about the upcoming shows, Deryck added: "We are doing a bunch of large festivals this summer and we thought it would be fun to do a few intimate shows - the UK felt like the perfect place for that!"
