It’s been one of the biggest and probably most emotional weekends in Sum 41’s lives, as last night (March 30) the band gave their final performance ever.
At Vancouver’s 2025 Juno Awards on Sunday evening, the departing pop-punk heroes not only unleashed one last brilliant medley of Landmines, Fat Lip, Still Waiting and In Too Deep, but they were also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame – and you can see both incredible moments below.
Posting about his feelings before the set, Deryck Whibley said it was “surreal”, and that there were “so many feelings, thoughts, and emotions running through me”.
The singer/guitarist reflected that some things have been “simply unimaginable” in their career – and especially the Canadian Music Hall of Fame induction, which Deryck admitted was “never something I envisioned down the road. We are forever grateful and thankful for this incredible honor.”
