Funeral For A Friend announce two massive UK shows for 2025
Funeral For A Friend – fronted by Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland – will hit Leeds and Cardiff for their only UK dates of next year…
Skindred are on course for their first-ever UK Number One with eighth album Smile – but they’re facing some tough competition, so let’s help them out!
Huge news for Skindred! On top of getting their first-ever Kerrang! cover last Wednesday, as well as the much-deserved recognition from the rock and metal scene for all their hard work over the past 25 years, the band are hopefully on course for a Number One album.
The ragga-metal heroes released their eighth studio record Smile on Friday (and it’s an LP which we said “feels like a rumination on why exactly its authors have achieved such popularity and longevity” in our 4/5 review), and the Official Charts Company have just revealed that it’s currently at Number One in the midweeks.
Of course, the top spot isn’t guaranteed come Friday, and Skindred are reportedly in a “very close race” with The Sherlocks and Cian Ducrot right behind them, with “less than 500 chart units separating” all three – so we need to do all we can to support the ’Dred and help get them their first-ever UK Number One!
