Skindred’s brilliant new album You Got This is Number One in the UK midweeks.
The Official Charts have revealed the current standings for the week of April 20-26, with Benji Webbe and co. currently sitting in first place ahead of Jessie Ware, Zayn, TOMORA and Olivia Dean.
“If they can put a man on the moon hopefully there should be some hope for putting a ragga metal band from Newport to Number One in the UK album charts,” says the frontman. “The love we have been receiving for our new album has been amazing. Thank you to everyone who has gone out and bought a copy.”
Last time out, You Got This’ predecessor Smile missed out on a Number One by just 150 sales – so make sure you buy and stream your copy right now. Head to the Earache store or get your limited-edition Kerrang! yellow and black marble edition.
