Metallica announced a ‘takeover’ of late-night TV this week in the lead-up to their highly-anticipated new album 72 Seasons on Friday, and they kicked things off with a brilliant performance of Lux Æterna.
The metal legends hit Jimmy Kimmel Live for a dazzling, high-energy run-through of 72 Seasons’ lead single, as well as sitting down for a chat with the host about Stranger Things and their ever-growing fanbase thanks to the show, their setlist-changing world tour, buying their very own vinyl pressing plant and much more.
’Tallica will be on Jimmy Kimmel all week, with three more live performances to go (including Master Of Puppets on Wednesday night). They also tease that they’ll be doing “whatever other fun Jimmy has in store for us”, so fingers crossed for some random skits.
