They’ve been on tour together for more than a month now, but at long last Hayley Williams joined Taylor Swift onstage to perform Castles Crumbling.
Following a typically excellent support set at London’s Wembley Stadium on The Eras Tour this past Saturday, June 22, the Paramore singer then made a surprise appearance during the headliner’s absolutely colossal setlist (38 songs in, to be precise).
And Taylor and Hayley played Castles Crumbling live together for the first time ever during the surprise songs section of the show – a track taken from last year’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) album.
Before Hayley joined her, the pop megastar teased (via People): “In the process of re-recording, I was really trying to reach out to artists that I’m such a fan of, or in the case of one of the albums, specifically on Speak Now, I reached out to artists who have been so influential in my music, in my writing, who I looked up to.
“I asked an artist who I was such a huge fan of to be on one of the songs, and she said yes. London, we are so lucky because when I asked Hayley Williams to come to this show, she said yes.”
