The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne is hitting the big screen for the first time
2020’s The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne will be getting a cinema premiere on July 4 – the day before The Prince Of Darkness’ final performance with Black Sabbath…
Hear Robbie Williams and Tony Iommi team up for new single Rocket, taken from the Stoke pop legend’s forthcoming album BRITPOP.
Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi can be heard shredding on the brand-new single by none other than pop legend Robbie Williams.
The unlikely duo have joined forces for electric new single Rocket, which was co-written by Tony alongside Karl Brazil and Tom Longworth, and is taken from Robbie’s newly-announced album BRITPOP (due out this autumn via Columbia Records).
Speaking about the record, Robbie announces, “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British music.
“I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s certainly some ‘pop’ too – I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album.
“I also can’t wait to perform a song or two from it on my upcoming BRITPOP tour, which I’m opening in the UK, naturally.”
