Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has unveiled a beautiful cover of Black Sabbath’s 1972 ballad Changes.
Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst has taken to social media to share a cover of Black Sabbath’s 1972 ballad Changes.
The singer is joined by guitarist Mike Waldron and cellist Telalit Charsky for the touching performance, which is simply captioned “OZZY” with bats and black heart emojis either side.
It appears as though this video was first captured and used for last July’s Back To The Beginning show, which Fred was originally announced to take part in. Though he ultimately didn’t end up appearing at Villa Park for Sabbath’s epic farewell, this clip was used during the day’s livestream.
Now, following the loss of The Prince Of Darkness, Fred has shared the whole thing on his Instagram for all to see – check it out:
Of course, there was another cover of Changes from Back To The Beginning which became a huge, viral talking point: YUNGBLUD’s version. Not only was it given the seal of approval by Ozzy (“He did an amazing job. I couldn’t have done it better myself…”), but earlier this year it won Best Rock Performance at the GRAMMYs.
