Post-hardcore pioneers Refused have teamed up with Thrice for a co-headline tour of the UK later this year. The six-date run starts in Birmingham on October 26 and finishes in Nottingham on November 1 – support throughout the tour comes from Gouge Away.
Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzén recently told Kerrang! that the band's are currently wrapping up work on their fifth studio album.
"I’m not going to say that record is almost done, because you never know…” said Dennis.
“I’m done with my part, at least. It’s in the works and we start touring in May. It’s like a puzzle to get your life together but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
“I think [2015 comeback album] Freedom as a record was needed for us to hone in on what we are and what we do the best, and I think hopefully, this time around we’ve done a record that sort of very much complements what Refused is as an entity and I think that will show in the record.”
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday May 10 from Ticketmaster.
