Tim Commerford’s 7D7D announce first-ever UK and European shows
Rage Against The Machine bassist Tim Commerford will be bringing his new band 7D7D across the pond for some headline shows – including an intimate date in London…
It looks as though Rage Against The Machine may have just announced a five-date reunion tour for 2020.
Not one but two legendary bands could be making a comeback in 2019: first My Chemical Romance announced a reunion show for December this year, and now it looks as though Rage Against The Machine are following suit.
In an initially low-key announcement, a new, alleged Rage Instagram account posted a photo alongside five brand-new tour dates for next year – two of which include Coachella 2020. While the page isn't actually verified, Forbes say that they reached out to a longtime associate of the band, Wayne Kamemoto, who reportedly told them: "The band's social media is accurate."

On top of that, musician and actress Juliette Lewis – who is in a relationship with Rage drummer Brad Wilk – liked the Instagram post, and then apparently confirmed the legitimacy of the news with fan account @war_within_a_breath.
Of course, three-quarters of Rage Against The Machine (Brad, guitarist Tom Morello and bassist Tim Commerford) have been busy with Prophets Of Rage alongside Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real, while frontman Zack de la Rocha last released solo material three years ago. Collectively Rage Against The Machine haven't played since 2011, at Los Angeles' Memorial Coliseum.
While we're still waiting for official confirmation, this is looking very promising indeed.
