Film review: Spinal Tap II: The End Continues
Shark sandwich! Spinal Tap return for a sequel that taps into what made the rockumentary band so funny in the first place.
Where Baseball Was Invented is taken from the rising British duo’s imminent Epithet LP.
Brotherly pair Cassels, aka Jim and Loz Beck, release their new album, Epithet, on October 6 via Big Scary Monsters – and here’s a corking preview of what’s to come, in the shape of a fresh K! premiere for Where Baseball Was Invented.
Very into that. Scratchy, catchy, and passionate. Just a little political, while remaining relatably small-town of lyrical focus. And funny, too! Cracking. Epithet follows the London/Oxford band’s “pre-album” release, Foreword, which picked up a five-K! review. Because it rocked.
Which we’re hoping Epithet will, too – and on this evidence, no concerns. Pre-order the band’s new album here, and see them live as follows (and, really, you must – they’re so good).
October
6: London, Birthdays
7: Oxford, The Cellar
November
22: Nottingham, Bodega
