A Birmingham livestream has been launched for fans to see Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral procession in the city today (July 30).
Following The Prince Of Darkness’ passing last week, cameras have been set up at the Black Sabbath Bench and Bridge – where fans have been leaving flowers and messages ever since the news broke – so that heavy metal lovers all over the globe can watch online and pay tribute.
A description on the website for the procession livestream (blacksabbathbench.co.uk) reads: “Today, we mourn the loss of a legend. Ozzy Osbourne, Birmingham’s own Prince of Darkness.
“A founding member of Black Sabbath and a pioneer of heavy metal, Ozzy’s influence on music and culture is immeasurable. From the streets of Aston to the world stage, his legacy echoes through generations of fans and artists alike.
“Westside BID invites fans from around the world to watch a livestream of the Black Sabbath Bench and Bridge in Birmingham. This landmark among many others, nestled in the heart of the city, are now places of reflection, celebration, and remembrance.”
