Experimental project Alto Arc share “sinister fairytale”, Bordello, from debut self-titled EP

Experimental project Alto Arc have announced details of their upcoming debut EP, and unveiled a brand-new single.

The band – completed by make-up artist/creative director Isamaya Ffrench (vocals), Deafheaven frontman George Clarke (also vocals), and Hundred Waters’ Danny L Harle and Trayer Tryon (production) – will be releasing the five-track Alto Arc EP on February 11 via Sargent House, with Bordello out now.

The single has an incredibly eerie accompanying video directed by Elizaveta Porodin, with George enthusing of her interpretation of the single: "Working with Elizaveta to see her vision through was wonderful and I couldn't be happier with how beautifully this song was interpreted and captured."

Elizaveta adds: "I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this video. Telling this story felt like opening an old book and uncovering a sinister fairytale. An eerie vibrating presence fell over the rooms we built up, and it felt like oscillating from one dark world to another. It's a privilege to witness such rare and magical moments."
