My Chemical Romance announce first show of 2026
My Chemical Romance have revealed their first live date of next year: THE BLACK PARADE – ALIVE! in Mexico City.
MCR have revealed a free listening session for the forthcoming deluxe edition of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, which has been completely remixed and remastered.
My Chemical Romance have just announced a Los Angeles playback for their Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition) album.
Ahead of the record’s re-release on June 6, the New Jersey legends have invited fans – for free – to go and hear this newly-remixed and remastered classic on June 5 “on a powerful cinema sound system with no distractions”. MCR themselves won’t be in attendance, but a description of the event says that you can, “Experience the classic album in more detail and intensity than ever before!” Head here to sign up.
Speaking to Kerrang! during the Three Cheers… era, singer Gerard Way explained that, “This record is revenge for us, on all the people that said we would never succeed. We thought we could get even for all the shit that’s happened to us in our lives. Revenge that could mean we could break out. Most of all, revenge on all the people who never believed in us. It led to this extreme confidence, where I felt like nothing could touch us. Nothing anyone said could hurt me when I was in this band.”
