Metallica release four-song live EP, The Amsterdam Sessions

Metallica have teamed up with Amazon Music for a four-song EP entitled The Amsterdam Sessions.

The new release consists of four performances captured with the help of production company Mercury Studios, along with an awesome video of If Darkness Had A Son. The EP kicks off with 11th album 72 Seasons’ absolutely brilliant lead single Lux Æterna, before going straight in with a certified classic: Master Of Puppets. Then there’s the aforementioned If Darkness Had A Son, before ’Tallica finish up with everyone’s favourite metal ballad Nothing Else Matters.

If that’s not enough Metallica for you (and of course it’s not), the band’s M72 World Tour, live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington TX, hits cinemas worldwide on August 18 and 20 via Trafalgar Releasing. Tickets are on sale now at metallica.film.
