After announcing a U.S. book tour, Mark Hoppus has revealed a London appearance to promote his new memoir Fahrenheit-182.
The blink-182 pop-punk hero will appear at the Savoy Theatre on May 5 for ‘An evening with…’ event, with a press release detailing how Mark will partake in a “vulnerable, funny and exciting conversation”. Meanwhile, the bassist himself very understatedly says that this will be “the greatest event in human history”.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 14 at 10am local time, and will also include a copy of Fahrenheit-182.
Fahrenheit-182 has previously been described as a “funny, smart
and relatable memoir”, which will tackle everything from Mark’s upbringing and
love of all things “punk rock, skateboards and MTV”, to forming and taking over
the world with blink, not to mention his “very human story of a constant battle
with anxiety and Mark’s public battle and triumph over cancer”. It’s due out on April 8.
