Earlier this month, rapper Machine Gun Kelly announced he was going to release a rock record in 2020, with plans to release a new track before this year is over. And true to his word, the Ohio musician has dropped a new track called why are you here.
Although Machine Gun Kelly has been quick to clarify on Twitter that instead of a rock album next year, it will be a pop-punk album.
Maybe MGK's desire to release a rock record is down to his experience portraying Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in Netflix’s biopic The Dirt. But not only that, he also performed on the movie’s theme song, and has since been an intrinsic part of announcing Mötley Crüe’s reunion.
