Listen to Pale Waves’ new single, Thinking About You

There’s just two weeks to go now until the release of Pale Waves’ fourth album Smitten, and the band have given fans another taste of what to expect.

Today (September 13), Heather Baron-Gracie and co. have unveiled new single Thinking About You, which the singer reveals is “about a situation when someone leaves and you can’t quite fully move on yet. You know you should and that it’ll be better for you in the long run, but it’s harder and more painful than it seems.”

Smitten is due out on September 27 via Dirty Hit, with Heather explaining of her mindset going into the record: “I found myself writing about not just a certain time period, but my whole life, from years ago. When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger. So I feel like Smitten really summarised perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.”
