Pale Waves have announced the departure of guitarist Hugo Silvani.
Having been a part of the band – now comprised of vocalist Heather Baron-Gracie, bassist Charlie Wood and drummer Ciara Doran – since 2015, the six-stringer is leaving for “new adventures”.
A statement from Pale Waves reads: “It’s with sadness that we are announcing Hugo’s departure from Pale Waves. The last decade together has been filled with memories that will last a lifetime. We are forever grateful for Hugo’s role in this band and the music we have created together. Although we will miss him dearly, we wish him the best on his new adventures.”
In other Pale Waves news, the band will be the main support on Louis Tomlinson’s upcoming UK arena tour, which kicks off on April 24 and wraps up on May 3. Just yesterday, they also confirmed an appearance at the third instalment of YUNGBLUD’s own Bludfest, which in 2026 will take place in Hradec Králové near Prague in the Czech Republic on June 27.
