Listen To grandson Cover Rage Against The Machine

Canadian-American singer-songwriter grandson has unveiled a cover of Rage Against The Machine's Maria.

The musician has previously work with RATM legend Tom Morello, and has now paid tribute to the iconic Los Angeles rap-metallers by covering the 1999 track – taken from their The Battle of Los Angeles album.

"The intention was to juxtapose a story of Mexican migration/indentured servitude with Delta Deep South American blues as a commentary on slave labor and the perversion of the American Dream," grandson says. "What’s more American than that?"
