Before they take on the European summer festival circuit next year – including a stop at the UK's own Download Festival – Korn have announced several headline dates with Gojira.
The Bakersfield metal titans will be joined by France's finest heavy band across four shows in May and June, hitting Amsterdam, Prague, Bratislava and Budapest together – and it's gonna be a hell of a good time.
While Korn will absolutely have new material to perform on European shores for the first time, having recently released their 4K-rated album The Nothing, Gojira should hopefully have something new to share, too; in a recent interview, drummer Mario Duplantier said of the follow-up to 2016's epic Magma, “It’s going well. I can’t give too many details because we still have to be on the same page with all the partners, and we have to give a collective release date… But I can tell you that we are working very hard on the new stuff. Work is in progress and we are very happy and super proud of it. We just can’t wait to give you more details.”
Can't wait.
