Jivebomb have just unleashed another new single from their forthcoming debut album ETHEREAL.

Following SURVIVAL AIN’T TAUGHT in January, today the quintet share the brutal ESTRELA, which has a pretty interesting back story based on the song Gloomy Sunday.

“This song has been written – lyrically – for a while and I was on a heavy Billie Holiday kick at the time,” explains vocalist Kat Madeira. “She has a devastating song where she says, ‘Angels have no thoughts of ever returning you – would they be angry if I thought of joining you?’ so there’s an ode to that in ESTRELA.

“Letting a past self die in order to grow, rather than being complacent in your shit life.”

Jivebomb’s debut album ETHEREAL is due out on March 28 via Flatspot. In the meantime, watch the video for ESTRELA now:
