Jason Aalon Butler has marked the anniversary of letlive.’s incredible third album The Blackest Beautiful by promising some sort of celebration for it…

With the full-length turning a decade old on July 9, the FEVER 333 frontman reflected in a post on social media that, “This record nearly broke us. Definitely nearly broke me. I think that’s part of what makes it ‘special’. During this process I developed what I now find to be a particularly unique perspective and set of tools to glean something seemingly optimistic out of trauma and I think this album was the true beginning of that capability.

“I’m still so thankful for all of it. I’m still so thankful for all of you. For its birthday I’d love to hear any memories/moments you’ve had with it. Happy 10 years, The Blackest Beautiful.”

Taking to Twitter, Jason also teased: “I’m gonna do something with this one, I promise.”

Of course, he’s still very much focused on the next chapter of FEVER 333, too, having recently launched the band’s new line-up and released single $WING via his own 333 Wreckords Crew and a new partnership with Century Media.

Introducing new bandmates Thomas Pridgen (drums), April Kae (bass) and Brandon Davis (guitar), Jason enthused: “This new era of FEVER 333 is beyond even what I could have imagined. The talent, the funk, the passion, and the respect for this project April, Thomas, and Brandon have already delivered have shown me, once again, that this project is something more than a band onstage.”
