Robinsons Brewery and Iron Maiden are back at it again. The two forces behind the Maidenheads' favourite beer Trooper have created a new, "charged" version.
Dubbed Trooper Nitro, the new incarnation of the brew is kegged and "charged with nitrogen and CO2."
"Our keg version of Trooper has been extremely popular but after listening to feedback from our customers and numerous on-trade trials, which had outstanding results, we decided to switch to mixed gas," says Trooper brand manager Sam Kennerley.
"The result – an awesome longer lasting keg-conditioned Trooper ale whose deep and complex flavour has been enhanced with a cooler temperature and a perfect serve."
Since its launch in 2013, Trooper has taken many forms, including its Red 'N' Black, Hallowed and Light Brigade.
Sam Kennerley also reveals that Nitro is just "the first of many exciting projects with Bruce Dickinson and Iron Maiden that are in the pipeline for Trooper in 2019."
We are interested.
