Iron Maiden have announced their new touring drummer
Following Nicko McBrain’s retirement from touring, Iron Maiden have revealed that “a name familiar to many of our fans” will be stepping in next year.
Iron Maiden will be taking their epic Legacy Of The Beast tour to Europe in June and July next year.
As with so many tours and events in 2021 already, Iron Maiden have been forced to postpone their European shows.
The heavy metal legends will now be bringing their awesome Legacy Of The Beast show to the masses in June and July 2022 due to coronavirus, with manager Rod Smallwood admitting, "Naturally the band are hugely disappointed; a second summer without touring, especially with this very special Legacy show, is very hard to take.

"They send their best wishes to you all, knowing full well you fans will feel the same," he continues. "As we all know, realistically there is no alternative so we will all make the best of it and spend the time preparing for a very memorable and even more spectacular Legacy tour next year, we promise! Until then keep safe and keep smart."
