Here Are The UK's Richest Rock Stars, According To The Sunday Times Rich List

Ahead of the publication of The Sunday Times Rich List this coming Sunday, the UK's top 40 wealthiest musicians have been revealed.

Unsurprisingly, a big portion of the 40 top-richest names aren't especially involved within the rock and metal world, with musical theatre legend Lord Lloyd-Webber at the top spot and plenty of pop-leaning musicians taking up the majority elsewhere.

However, Queen's Brian May sits at number 16 with a 2019 wealth of £160 million, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are at number 22 with a cool £150 million to their collective names, and Led Zeppelin icon Jimmy Page takes the 26th spot with £125 million.

Check out the UK's richest rock stars in 2019 below…

Sir Mick Jagger – £275m
Keith Richards – £260m
Sir Ringo Starr – £240m
Brian May – £160m
Roger Taylor – £155m
Charlie Watts – £155m
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne – £150m
John Deacon – £130m
Jimmy Page – £125m
David Gilmour – £116m

The UK's wealthiest young musicians have also been announced, with Ed Sheeran, Little Mix (collectively) and each individual member of One Direction all earning a hell of a lot of cash.

Compiler of The Sunday Times Rich List says: “Touring continues to be highly lucrative for the Rolling Stones and other long-established acts which have older fans able to pay more for tickets.

“The remaining members of Queen have earned well from the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic and savvy commercial deals that introduce their music to new generations.”

It goes without saying that, if anyone in the above list fancies lending us a fiver, we'd be extremely grateful.
