Ouch. U.S. talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel's #MeanTweets segment hosted a whole bunch of our favourite bands yesterday… and the comments are pretty brutal.

Fair play to Green Day, blink-182, Fall Out Boy and Alice Cooper for all taking the mean insults aimed at them on social media extremely well – you're a bunch of good sports, guys.

Big up Green Day for the best comeback ever, too.
