After much teasing, Ghost have finally properly kicked off their next chapter, following 2022’s monumental Impera album.

The Swedish stars have confirmed that their highly-anticipated sixth record will go by the name Skeletá, and is due out as soon as April 25 via Loma Vista. They’ve also revealed lead single and video Satanized, teasing that, “A demonic tale of possession has never sounded this sweet.” Watch that below to get a proper glimpse of the all-new Papa V Perpetua (there’s also a ‘To be continued’ at the end of the clip, so expect plenty more where that came from).

“We wish to inform you that with just a few plumes of smoke our PERPETUAL state of anticipation has subsided,” reads a statement from Ghost. “We learned patience is key to opening any door in life. Let us celebrate the crowning of Papa V Perpetua and the announcement of Ghost's six-six-sixth psalm, Skeletá. Watch the Satanized music video; a demonic tale of possession has never sounded this sweet.”
