The Foos are getting behind the #SaveOurVenues and #SaveOurStages campaigns with this 1995 tour merch.
Foo Fighters are releasing the ultimate throwback tour tee to help raise money for struggling venues – both in the UK and America – amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The band are releasing the original merch designs from their 1995 tour for the UK's #SaveOurVenues campaign, as well as the National Independent Venue Association’s #SaveOurStages in the U.S.
All proceeds from what is known as the ‘Roswell Alien Design’ T-shirts will go to the country's respective fundraising efforts – so you can help support venues while also pretending like you were lucky enough to either be at Arcata, California's Jambalaya Club on February 23 a quarter of a century ago, or at London's King's College on June 3, 1995. (Hey, nobody needs to know these are re-released shirts, alright?)

Back in May, Foos frontman Dave Grohl wrote a brilliant op-ed piece about the lack of live music right now, reflecting on his lucky position up onstage for all these years while also being incredibly optimistic about the future.
"But I do know that we will do it again, because we have to," he said. "It’s not a choice. We’re human. We need moments that reassure us that we are not alone. That we are understood. That we are imperfect. And, most important, that we need each other.
"I have shared my music, my words, my life with the people who come to our shows. And they have shared their voices with me. Without that audience – that screaming, sweating audience – my songs would only be sound. But together, we are instruments in a sonic cathedral, one that we build together night after night. And one that we will surely build again."
