Enter Shikari have teamed up with St Albans City FC for the next season
St Albans natives Enter Shikari are sponsoring their hometown team for next season.
St Albans City FC ended last season in 20th place in the National League South, but hopefully their new affiliation with Shikari will give them a much-needed boost. A return to energiser, perhaps?
“Growing up I was passionate about two things: football and music," says Enter Shikari bassist Chris Batten. "The reality is that sport and music go hand-in-hand when it comes to providing a positive outlet for young people, no matter what their background.
"SACFC lead the way with their community outreach programs and Enter Shikari couldn’t be more proud to embark on a partnership with the club. We 100 per cent support the work SACFC already do locally and we look forward to working together to find new ways we can give back to the City and the communities that raised us.”
The new Shikari x St Albans City shirts are available now from the club's store and Shikari's online store.
If you want to show your support for the team, they're playing a pre-season friendly tomorrow (August 15) against Hashtag United. Yes, that is a real team name.

Earlier this year, Enter Shikari released their incredible Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible album, but subsequent tour plans were scuppered due to COVID. Their UK and European shows have been rescheduled for 2021, as you can see below.
