Don Broco and Enter Shikari will headline Five4Five Fest in May
Livestreaming is the name of the game at the moment while we're all in lockdown. Quizzes, gym workouts, pilates classes... you name it, if you can capture it on video, it's being streamed. The music world has been getting in on the action too, but countless bands sharing acoustic sessions and other unique recordings across social media.
Now, new digital music festival Five4Five has announced details of its very first streaming event. To be held across the weekend of May 15 and 16, five bands will play each day, and the whole thing will be streamed on Facebook.
Signing up to headline the online festival are British rock heroes Enter Shikari and Don Broco. Far removed from the arenas they're used to, the bands will instead beam their music direct into your living room from the comfort of self-isolation.
The event will be streamed from 19:30 (UK time) on May 15 and 16 via the Five4Five Facebook page. You'll be able to watch it for free, but will be encouraged to donate a fiver via a link in the video. All profits will be donated to NHS Charities Together.
More will bands for each day will be announced soon, along with the chance to win signed drumsticks/skins, artwork, merch and more..
