The Bedford boys' latest single is “about struggling to love and support someone living through something terrible"
Surprise! Just a couple of weeks since they dropped the excellent Hype Man, and not much longer since Cellophane, Don Broco have put out another new song, Disappear.
Built around a thumping electronic beat and elastic bassline, it builds on the band's last two songs in suggesting a very big musical palette for their as-yet-unannounced new album. Lyrically, meanwhile, Rob Damiani says it's about “struggling to love and support someone living through something terrible. When the toll has become too much to bear, but is dwarfed by the guilt in knowing what you are feeling is nothing compared to what they are facing themselves.”
