Deryck Whibley: "We're In The Writing And Demoing Phase Of Making New Music"

Sum 41 have posted a short but sweet video of Deryck Whibley updating fans on the rest of the band's year.

As well as discussing their final-ever Warped Tour performance in Toronto this summer, plus Reading & Leeds at the end of August, the frontman has also revealed that the pop-punk legends are in the writing and demoing phase of new music right now, and hope to have the results of which out for the New Year. Sweet!

"It's a pretty cool time right now, because we're still in the writing phase, and demoing phase, of making new music, and we're about halfway through that," he says, before adding: "When we come home, for the rest of the year we're just going to focus on trying to finish new music, and have new music out for the New Year sometime."
