Deafheaven have released a new single, Heathen
Hear Deafheaven’s new single Heathen – the second preview they’ve shared from next month’s Lonely People With Power record.
Damnation gets even bigger with Deafheaven, Author & Punisher, Necrot and more joining the bill for November...
With their sixth album, Lonely People With Power, just around the corner, San Fran blackgazers Deafheaven lead today's Damnation festival announcement.
Joining the likes of previously announced Perturbator, High On Fire, Wiegedood and Warning, this year's Manchester metalfest is shaping up to be one of its most exciting yet.
"Some bands are worth the wait and to finally have Deafheaven at Damnation to mark our 20th anniversary feels like perfect timing," says Damnation head honcho Gavin McInally.
"If the first two tracks from their forthcoming album are anything to go by, we're in for a very, very special set."
Also announced today are Author & Punisher, Toxic Holocaust, Messa and Necrot, who Gavin says, bringing all different shades of heavy to the ever-growing line-up.
"Incredibly, this is only half of what we have in store this year," adds Gavin. "Fans can expect another 24 bands to be announced, including headliners."
Damnation takes place November 8 and 9 at the BEC Arena in Manchester. Tickets are on sale now, including a deposit scheme that starts at just £15.
