Courtney Love to guest on the rock episode of new Never Mind The Buzzcocks

Hole legend Courtney Love is set to appear on the rock episode of the new series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The fourth edition of the iconic British music game show is set to hit Sky Max and NOW later this year, with returning host Greg Davies plus Noel Fielding and Jamali Maddix. However with Daisy May Cooper departing (although she’ll reportedly return for the Christmas episode), there’ll be some changes – including Taskmaster’s Sophie Willan as a new team captain.

This upcoming season will also have themed specials, including the aforementioned rock episode starring Courtney, along with Mel B for the ’90s, Beth Ditto for the ’00s, and Little Mix’s Perrie appearing on Buzzcocks Does… Girl & Boy Bands.

Via Digital Spy, Sky’s Phil Edgar-Jones enthuses: “It’s the starriest line-up you could hope for this year on Buzzcocks with something to satisfy every musical taste from the ’90s through the noughties via boy and girl bands right to the present day. Throw in a healthy dose of unpredictability and mad comedy and you’d got the perfect fourth album.”
