A brand-new Courtney Love documentary has been announced.

Premiering at next year’s Sundance Film Festival – which takes place between January 22 and February 1, 2026 – production company Dorothy St. Pictures have revealed Courtney’s new film Antiheroine, which is set to tell her fascinating story.

Via Variety, the logline reads: “Singer, songwriter and actor Courtney Love has long had an impact on rock and pop culture. Now sober and set to release new music for the first time in over a decade, Courtney is ready to reveal her story, unfiltered and unapologetic.”

As well as involvement from the Hole icon herself, Antiheroine will include appearances by everyone from Michael Stipe to Melissa Auf der Maur and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong – who of course brought out Courtney for a surprise performance in London with The Coverups last year.
