Limp Bizkit announce Loserville 2025 UK and Ireland arena dates
Limp Bizkit will return in March, playing five massive headline shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester and London.
The Brazilian-born, Britain-based punk says “music is what I’m meant to be doing with my life”. And she’s heading out with Limp Bizkit next year. Best get acquainted with her…
Having just played a storming headline show at London's Old Blue Last on Wednesday night, Karen Dió has released her debut EP under her own name, My World.
It sees the Brazilian punk announcing herself across six lively, energised tracks of rowdy but tuneful punk. A great deal of that vitality comes, she says, from reconnecting with music and realising what she's meant to be doing.
"My World sealed my comeback to the music industry, reassuring that here, making music, is where I belong," she says. "The songs are short, real, catchy and straight to the point! The title-track has a mix of Joan Jett with Veruca Salt. That song is about my realisation that music is what I am meant to be doing with my life. Whether it’s in front of 10,000 people or just alone in my room, I will still be writing songs."
"Recording the E.P was awesome," she continues. "I was lucky enough to have the support of some great people from the industry helping my EP become real. I co-wrote the majority of the songs with Matt Bigland (Dinosaur Pile-Up), who also produced and played strings on the whole EP. Adam Breeze (WARGASM, YONAKA, VUKOVI) played the drums. The songs were recorded and mixed by Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Placebo), and mastered by Dick Beetham (Amyl And The Sniffers, Nova Twins), so it was a kick ass recording team."
As well as the EP, she's just been announced as one of the openers on Limp Bizkit's UK and Ireland tour next spring. Catch the action at the following Big Venues...
