Check out Karen Dió's feisty new banger, Cut Your Hair

Brazilian punk queen Karen Dió has dropped a killer new banger, the fighty Cut Your Hair. Which is all as expected from the self-proclaimed Latin riot grrrl. This time, she's clapping back at people getting in your business about your looks.

“I used to get a lot of comments from people online telling me they like me more with long hair, which I think is bizarre," she says. "I forget how invasive and superficial people can be! So I wrote Cut Your Hair as my final response to all of them. 'If you don't like me with my short hair, then you don't like me at all.'"

You can hear Karen playing it at her upcoming shows. She plays Bristol's Gotobeat festival tomorrow, September 6, then hits Camden Underworld on November 25 for a headline gig. And if you fancy a nice holiday (or, indeed, you live there), she's heading to Brazil in October as well, for two nights with Avenged Sevenfold, and a headliner of her own.
