Live review: Biffy Clyro, London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire
The band for the ages, Biffy Clyro, open the archives and dust off their early works during three-night stand in London town
Listen to Biffy Clyro's new song Unknown Male 01, taken from their surprise The Myth Of The Happily Ever After record!
Fresh from two typically brilliant headline sets at Reading & Leeds, Biffy Clyro have announced a surprise new 'project' (which is basically an entire album): The Myth Of The Happily Ever After.
The new record is a 'reaction' to 2020's incredible A Celebration Of Endings, as well as 'a rapid emotional response to the turmoil of the past year'.
"This album is a real journey, a collision of every thought and emotion we’ve had over the past 18 months," explains frontman Simon Neil. "There was a real fortitude in A Celebration but in this record we’re embracing the vulnerabilities of being a band and being a human in this twisted era of our lives.

"Even the title is the polar opposite. It’s asking: do we create these narratives in our own minds to give us some security when none of us know what’s waiting for us at the end of the day?”
