Biffy Clyro have announced their biggest headline show ever
Biffy Clyro will play London’s 45,000-capacity Finsbury Park next summer, with support coming from Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco, Marmozets and Wavves.
Simon Neil has posted a video expressing his frustration at Biffy Clyro’s change in tour plans, due to “some f*cking genius” getting the band’s visa dates wrong.
Biffy Clyro have been forced to postpone next month’s intimate U.S. headline tour.
Frontman Simon Neil has taken to social media to share in a video that, “Some fucking genius put the wrong start date into our work visa, so when we received our visas in the last couple of days, we realised it doesn’t begin until after our tour is meant to finish.”
Despite seeking the help of various immigration lawyers and even Congress, Simon says that there’s “fuck all” that can be done about the situation, and as such they’ll be rescheduling their planned shows for April and May 2026 – and tickets will remain valid (stay tuned for more info on that).
As well as feeling “embarrassed” and “gutted”, Simon says that, “We are so angry about this.” He adds: “I completely understand if you want to get refunds and you’ve lost faith in us, I get it and I’d be fucking raging at us too. You can’t be any madder at us than I am.
“…Thanks for your time and sorry for fucking wasting it.”
In happier Biffy news, earlier this week the trio announced their biggest headline gig ever, at London’s Finsbury Park on July 3. Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday, November 28.
