Avril Lavigne has revealed that there will be new music coming soon from her upcoming seventh record…
Following her recent collaboration with MOD SUN on explosive single Flames, Avril Lavigne has confirmed that her new pop-punk album is finished – and there will be new music coming soon.
The Canadian singer-songwriter has been teasing the record – the follow-up to 2019's Head Above Water – with snaps from the studio for a couple of months now, even revealing that there had been sessions featuring MOD SUN, producing titan John Feldmann and the pop-punk prince of 2020, Machine Gun Kelly.
Now, in a response to a fan on Instagram, Avril wrote of the album, "It's done! Music coming soon. For sure summer."

Though she hasn't teased too much yet in regards to what's to come from album number seven, Avril revealed last month that she was channeling her inner Mark Hoppus in the studio, uploading videos of her playing bass in the style of the blink-182 musician.
Plus, speaking to Wall Of Sound in December, producer John Feldmann said: "I’m working on making an album with Avril Lavigne right now who I just love. I love making this album, I love her and I’m having the best time."
When asked if he would be "bringing back her pop-punk roots" on the LP, Feldy responded, "Fuck yeah!"
